山东省莱西经济开发区是1992年经省政府批准设立的省级开发区，位于莱西城区东部，紧邻莱西高铁新城，是新一代信息技术和智能制造集聚区、青岛先进制造业基地、电子商务生态产业集聚区、胶东一体化发展先行示范区。

 Laixi Economic Development Zone in Shandong Province is a provincial development zone approved by the provincial government in 1992. It is located in the east of Laixi City, close to Laixi high-speed railway new town. It is a new generation of information technology and intelligent manufacturing gathering area, Qingdao advanced manufacturing base, e-commerce ecological industry gathering area and Jiaodong integrated development demonstration area.

  莱西经济开发区管辖范围为“一区三园”，即“核心区”和三个拓展园区，总面积约59.71平方公里。经济开发区“核心区”，交通便利，基础设施配套完善，重点发展新材料、健康食品、新一代信息技术和智能制造等主导产业。近年来，形成了以中科曙光为代表的新一代信息技术产业集聚区，以中科润美高端润滑材料等项目为代表的新材料产业集聚区，以韩国希杰、西微雅食品为代表的健康食品产业集聚区，以中鸿重型机械、青北高科园、华丰恒达热交换器等项目为代表的装备制造产业集聚区。目前，“核心区”已有中国建材、中建国际、中科曙光等一批国企央企纷纷进区投资。经济开发区三个“拓展园区”分别是沽河高端食品产业园、望城新材料产业园、济青烟（莱西）国际招商产业园，重点发展高端食品、新材料、新能源汽车制造和生物医药等业态为主的产业集群。经过多年发展，莱西经济开发区已经成为国内外优势要素汇聚的热土和各类精英人才创业的梦想之地。

 The jurisdiction of Laixi Economic Development Zone includes "one zone and three parks", namely the "core area" and three expansion parks, with a total area of approximately 59.71 square kilometers. The core area of the economic development zone has convenient transportation, complete infrastructure, and focuses on developing leading industries such as new materials, healthy food, new generation information technology, and intelligent manufacturing. In recent years, a new generation of information technology industry cluster has been formed, represented by Zhongke Shuguang, a new material industry cluster represented by Zhongke Runmei's high-end lubricant materials, a health food industry cluster represented by South Korea's Xijie and Xiweiya Food, and an equipment manufacturing industry cluster represented by projects such as Zhonghong Heavy Machinery, Qingbei High tech Park, and Huafeng Hengda Heat Exchanger. At present, a number of state-owned enterprises and central enterprises such as China National Building Materials, China Construction International, and China Science and Technology Corporation Shuguang have invested in the "core area". The three "expansion parks" in the Economic Development Zone are Guhe High end Food Industry Park, Wangcheng New Materials Industry Park, and Jiqing Tobacco (Laixi) International Investment Industrial Park, which focus on developing industrial clusters mainly in high-end food, new materials, new energy vehicle manufacturing, and biomedicine.
